an afternoon in winter in marseille
Never visited Marseille before, let alone in winter. With a day all to myself – the day after the Charlie Hebdo attacks – I strolled around the very subdued and empty city. The bright Mediterranean winter sun cast long shadows, which added their own geometry to the buildings of the 1950s that lay along my path. Seeing with my camera that day was a delight. I often tend to overthink photos, but not on this day.
